My School Pad Brief

For my first brief I had to create a app and website logo.

Research

I researched educational apps in the apple app store. 

Next I started experiment with type to see which on would suite the app and the website logo better. I picked Century Gothic Bold.  

They also gave me a colour scheme the would like me to incorporate into my designs 

Next I started to design the app. 

Next drew a book with a pen tool, the brief said that I could use things to do with school like books, pens and other school things. 

Next I added a pencil 

I tested out the colours they game me to make the app look less boring and more interesting

Next I started on my website logo, it wasn't that hard because I already had the main design done on the app, I was using the same design for the website logo also the only thing I changed was the colour of the outline from white to black.

Peace.Strength.Yoga Brief

For second brief I had to create a logo for a yoga company.

Research 

Here is my mood board, I searched up yoga logos

Next I started on my typography. I picked Century Gothic 

Colour Scheme

Next I design the colour scheme, they said I should use light/dark yellows, greys and blues. 

Next I started on the yoga logo.

Frist I did the outline of a guy meditating.

Next I Started to add the text

Then I added the colour. I had a dark blue outline and a light yellow fill 

Southern Food Truck Logo

For this brief I had to create a logo for a southern food bbq and catering company, it is in Mississippi. They wanted it to say "smoke in the city"and they wanted me to use colours like black, white, smokey grey, sliver and red. They also didn't want pig mascot, they wanted a one of a kind logo.

Research 

Here is the research I did for this brief, I got examples of bbq logo and a map of Mississippi. 

Next I started designing the logo. The first thing I did was the bbq utensils.

Next I experimented with the text. I picked the second one

Next I did tested some colours. I decided to stick with red black and white.

Next I stared to put it together. First I positioned the utensils.

Next I added the text.

After I tested it out with the colours. I prefer the second one because it is more simple and it looks more professional 

Alaskan Bushwheel Brief

For this brief I had create logo for a company that specialise in making tires for alaskan bush aeroplanes. They wanted the logo to say 'Alaskan Bushwheel'

The first thing I did was research. Image of Alaska and a bush wheel

Next I did some drawings

Next I tested out some fonts.

Next I started to design the logo 

I was going to use this as my final logo design but I decided to experiment more
